they've been around a few years now - currently residing in Atlanta GA, have created 2 albums - Pneuma (1998), Vinculum (2000), and play exactly the kind of music i often feel for - subtle beats, voluptuous strings, and ever-consuming vocals.  the lyrics are something to be read into as well, giving another layer of depth to what is clearly well thought-out music.

most words and voices are provided by Sarah Hubbard, with a few spots done by Melissa Mileski of Underwater, and Lee M. Helms who also plays upright bass and guitar, while Chandler Rentz hits the drums and Avis brings it all together with his mastery of cello, piano, guitar and sampling/programming.
